In-Kind Donations

If you would like to support the team in alternative ways, such as in-kind donations, we welcome and are grateful for any support from the community. Community members often ask what kind of things we need, so we have started a wishlist of tools and materials we particularly need access to in our work shop. We are happy to accept new or used (safe, working) tools and even some material scraps for use:​

​Tools

  • 1x30" (or larger) bench top belt sander - Used with aluminum oxide cloth belts for finishing cut aluminum stock

  • C-Clamps 2"~ 6" sizes - You can never have too many clamps!

  • Quick clamps 18 ~ 24"

  • Annular cutters with Weldon shank

  • Rolling mechanics tool storage cart with drawers

  • T track (to upgrade our CNC)

  • Smaller shop air compressor

  • Small 110v Dust collection system

  • Milwaukee Cordless rivet tool

Frequently Used Materials

  • 1/16" & 1/8" Aluminum sheet metal (preferably 6061)

  • 1"x 1", 1"x 2", 1.5"x1.5", 2"x2" Aluminum Box tube, 1/16" & 1/8" wall

  • #10-32 Socket-cap and Button-head machine screws of various lengths

  • 1/4"-20 bolts of various lengths up to 3"

  • 3/16" blind rivets from 1/8" to 3/8" grip depth

  • 1/4" Baltic birch 5-ply plywood

  • 1/2" & 3/4" plywood

  • 1/2" & 3/4" MDF (for CNC spoilboards)

  • 2x4 lumber

  • 1/8" & 1/4" Lexan/polycarbonate sheet

  • 12-26ga copper stranded wire

  • Zip-ties

Services

  • ​T-shirt Screen Printing - We need to source team t-shirts every year

  • Vinyl decal cutting - as with our t-shirts, each year we need decals cut with team sponsors for display on our competition robots
