Those who come to the event will not only will enjoy a fabulous dinner, but will be supporting the scientists, engineers, and leaders of tomorrow!. About us: Hall-Dale’s team, REM Delta Prime Robotics #4473 is a member of FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC), an international high school robotics competition that gives students real-world engineering experience. FRC combines the excitement of sport with the rigors of science and technology. Under strict rules, limited resources, and time limits, teams of students are challenged to raise funds, design a team "brand," hone teamwork skills, and build and program robots to perform prescribed tasks against a field of competitors. It’s as close to "real-world engineering" as a student can get. Volunteer professional mentors lend their time and talents to guide each team. Delta Prime needs to raise up to $40,000 each year to enter and participate in the competitions, many of which require the team to travel out of state.
